Green Country Ring Handbell Festival
The GCR Handbell Festival is the inspiration of Steven Eddington, the Director of Handbell Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Owasso, OK. The vision for the festival is to create an affordable, 1-day event designed to help any handbell choir, or individual ringer, to grow in their musicianship in the art of handbell ringing.
For whatever reason, too many churches have a set of handbells sitting in a closet unused. The GCR Festival is designed to specifically help churches to jumpstart their handbell ministry and - get those bells back into worship!
Our goal is to provide a quality workshop and festival experience at a bare-bones price.
The festival concludes with an open-to-the-public concert.
